Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Emmanuel Andrew Samini has revealed that a lot of ladies chases and fall for him all because of the fame that he has chalked as the CEO of the Highgrade family.
He said he cannot boast of being a romantic guy because he normally draws a blank to some events like birthdays and other things.
According to him, one of his vexations is when he calls someone on phone and the fellow fails to answer the call.
“Though I get the love of ladies easily, I cannot say I am romantic because most often I have to be prompted regarding anniversaries, birthdays and other special days of those who mean so much to me because I easily forget such dates thanks to a lot of projects I handle,” he said in an interview with Amanda Jissih on Hitz FM’s Showbiz Filla.
“It is a shame but I have learnt to not get angry when I attempt to place a call twice and get no response because I also get phoned sometimes 100 times without me responding either because I am on the field or simply forget to call back,” he added.
No wonder his first single was titled ‘Linda’, Maybe Linda is one of his ‘numerous babies’.
Samini has won several awards in Ghana and endorsements across the African continent with his great performances.
He won the “Best African Act” at the 2006 MOBO Awards. After releasing his second self-titled studio album, Samini, he won three awards at the 2007 Ghana Music Awards.
In February 2008, Samini won the “African Artiste of the Year” award at The Headies.
