Dutch-born American television personality, Yolanda Foster has revealed that she’s ‘heartbroken’ after her four years of marriage to Canadian musician David Foster crashed.
Yolanda Foster who is best known as a star of the American reality-television show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and David Foster announced their split on Tuesday, which is seemingly linked to Yolanda’s ill health.
Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012—and in December that year, she reported that she was having a port implanted in her arm to help treat her chronic lyme disease, but on April 19, 2013, she had the port removed.
She revealed in January 2015 that, as a consequence of her illness, she has “lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV”.
“I keep going, one foot in front of the other,” Yolanda told ET at the premiere of the new season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Obviously, this is a difficult time and I’m heartbroken,” she continued, “but [I’m] grateful to have my job and be dressed and up out of the bed.”
“It’s just life. I’m sure you’ve all witnessed a break-up. It’s life. Work, my health, his job, the children — life is overwhelming for everybody,” Yolanda shared. “It’s a lot of work to keep it all together.”
“I just let it roll off my back because I have nothing to prove to anybody except to myself,” the reality star explained.
She added; “To be honest with you, it doesn’t faze me – I’ve heard it for so many years now that it goes in one ear and out the other.”
