Wisa has garnered attention, perhaps too much attention- after his crazed action of pulling out his dindong on stage during this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert.
The musician was invited by the police for interrogation on Saturday, and was later released on bail, to return on Monday December 28.
Many people have condemned his actions, and some have even raised questions about what the girl on stage with him- who somehow has been totally forgotten in this entire conversation- had to go through at his hands.
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Dzifa Gomashie, has thoroughly condemned the actions of Wisa. In an interview, the minister criticised his actions, saying it was in very bad taste.
“That s*xually explicit thing that happened on the stage should not have happened. What he did on stage was in a very bad taste and unfortunate, looking at the respectable people who had gathered for the show.
“He is not an artiste I have met before and I have not seen him perform anywhere. That was my first time but he left a very sad taste in my mouth. I’ve heard people make reference to his song, but he gave me a bad picture the first time I saw him.”
Gomashie also added that what she has seen of Wisa makes it unlikely she’ll ever check out his work in the future.
“I don’t know how he can create a better impression for me anymore. Aside the first event I saw him perform, I’m not sure I will be interested in watching or will participate in his show”
Looks like Wisa just lost another potential fan.
