Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party for the 2016 elections, knows what he wants for the New Year.

The 71 year old son of the President of Ghana’s second republic says for the upcoming year, his biggest wish is to win elections and give Ghanaians a government that tackles our problems.

“A government that will deal with the problems facing the people of Ghana- problems of unemployment, jobs for youth, how to sustain our economy, grow our economy, bring prosperity to the ordinary man and the people of Ghana- that’s the new year resolution,” Nana Addo told Joy News.

The flagbearer was speaking after a thanksgiving service at the Resurrection Power and New Generation Church in Kasoa.

The 2016 elections, scheduled for November 7, is set to be a close one. Whilst this government has saddled Ghanaians with too many problems to list, the NPP are doing little to endear themselves to the people with rampant in-fighting.
