The man Taylor Swift had a crush on way back at high school—and being the inspiration behind her hit song, “Teardrops On My Guitar” has been charged with “aggravated child abuse”.
A report by The Tennessean indicates that Andrew Hardwick was arrested on Saturday in Hendersonville, Tennessee with his wife-Joni after he reportedly struck the two little girls, aged 5 and 3.
The girls are currently receiving treatment at the hospital. An eyewitness accounted that one of the younger girls suffered a concussion, in addition to “severe bruising and swelling to the face.
A relative in Andrew’s house (Christopher Hardwick), who notified the police over the incident was also arrested after they found out that he and Andrew had been drinking for a very long time.
Report says Christopher “appeared intoxicated” and acted “belligerent” towards the authorities, “screaming that a child was assaulted.”
Andrew Hardwick’s wife, Joni was booked for “assault on an officer and resisting arrest.”
“Both have since been released from jail on bonds and are scheduled to appear in court in February. Meanwhile, Christopher was cited with “assault and disorderly conduct,” according to Police sources.
