Highlife legend Abrantie Amakye Dede narrowly escaped death in an accident on Saturday, when an incoming car rammed into his car, which was stationery at the time.
Amakye Dede sustained severe injuries, as did his bodyguard. Sadly, his manager, Isaac Yeboah, lost his life in the accident.
Fellow highlife legend Kojo Antwi, has been speaking on the unfortunate accident involving his colleague.
Speaking with Joy FM, the GHAMRO President expressed sadness at the outcome of the accident. He mourned Yeboah, who was someone he personally knew, and called on Ghanaians to beseech the Lord for a favourable outcome to Amakye’s condition.
“We are praying for Amakye. I will plead with the nation to pray for him”, he told the Accra based station on Saturday.
Amakye Dede, who continues to battle severe injuries, has been transferred to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
