It takes a lot of brilliance and balls to pose as a lawyer—except if you are as smart as Mike Ross of the popular TV series-Suits.
But in Ghana, someone decided to become our local Mike Ross and succeeded in practicing as a lawyer in courts for over a year.

A fake lawyer Anthony Anyomi has been arrested after he managed to practice at the court for over a year without being noticed.
Anyomi was arrested and jailed three years ago for impersonating a Police Officer, but he failed to depart from his deceptive ways upon his release, and returned to court pretending to be a lawyer.
Luck, however, run out for Anyomi on Tuesday after he was spotted by the prosecutor who prosecuted him three years ago.
After running background checks at the Judicial Secretariat, it was revealed that Anyomi was not a qualified lawyer and not fit to handle any case. He was arrested on Wednesday at the Circuit Court dressed as a lawyer and waiting for his case to be called.
According to information gathered by Starr News, Anyomi was scheduled to tie the knot on Saturday to his pregnant Police Officer girlfriend.
He is currently in Police grips waiting to be charged.
We think Anyomi will return from prison and practice as a fake MP, helping in making laws for Ghana. This is when you say ‘What a brilliant rogue.’
We wonder how he got his police woman girlfriend—perhaps by lying to her with his lawyer status. Some people just love trouble…
