Of course Bishop Obinim can’t be measured with the rod of stupidity—he transcends the metrics but his credulous followers are certainly the worst.
For such a man to be able to amass thousands of people, it says something unique about these congregants; they just can’t see into the obvious swindles being peddled in the name of a God.
In his latest social media trending video, Bishop Obinim is shown visiting the dead—as if there is any substantive proof of an afterlife or such a place.
Yet, he goes into the dead—and by this; he is just shown shaking off like a soon to die snake and for his people, that translates as having been to the dead.
And his mission was simple; one of his church members wants to travel but somehow her old passport has ended up with the dead. Any sane human being will at this stage say, just get a new passport—something the woman has already done.
But, according to the narrator, the old passport remaining with the dead has become an obstacle to the lady’s travel plans and therefore, the good powerful Bishop must travel to the dead to claim the old passport.
He does all that on live TV; dude doesn’t go anywhere and pulls a passport from his own pocket—yet as stupid as it all seems, his followers are excited and they believe this gibberish which my cat will even walk away from.
That’s what religion makes people become…
