Woman Appears After Her Own ‘Funeral’ To Confront Her Husband Who Ordered A Hit On Her That She Survived

‘funeral crasher’ Noela Rukundo

These are the real ‘risen from dead’ stories we should be telling, not those ones involving Jewish zombies that has no way to be authenticated.
An Australian woman surprised her murderous husband when she appeared at her own funeral and confronted him on his plan to kill her, which he thought had succeeded.
Noela Rukundo and her husband, Balenga Kalala, are both African migrants living Down Under. Noella hails from Burundi, where she nearly met her death after going back for her step mother’s funeral.
Her husband ordered a hit on her because he thought she was cheating on him. He had called the hitmen in Burundi and paid them months before she even made the trip. When push came to shove, though, they were unable to carry out the hit because she was a woman. Before releasing her however, they called her husband and talked about the hit, with the phone on loudspeaker for her to hear his voice; then they handed her more evidence of her husband’s crime, recorded phone calls and receipts of the money he wired to them.
She got back to Australia in time for her funeral, which was happening after her husband told the community she died in an accident back home. After everybody left, she confronted him.
“When I get out of the car, he saw me straight away. He put his hands on his head and said, ‘Is it my eyes? Is it a ghost?'” she told the BBC.
“Surprise! I’m still alive!” she replied.
“I was stood just looking at him. He was scared, he didn’t believe it. Then he starts walking towards me, slowly, like he was walking on broken glass.
“He kept talking to himself and when he reached me, he touched me on the shoulder. He jumped.
“He did it again. He jumped. Then he said, ‘Noela, is it you?’… Then he start screaming, ‘I’m sorry for everything.'”
She called the police, who carted him away. He initially denied the crime, but capitulated after police played back to him a conversation she had with him in which he confessed everything and begged for forgiveness.
In court, he was sentenced to ten years in jail. His spirited attempt to blame his actions on the devil apparently did not impress the judge. Somehow, the African community in Melbourne is blaming her for her husband’s conviction, and she and her children are being shunned.
That African mentality, it never goes away.

  2. 1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
