Its official- DiCaprio would break his Oscar drought this year.
The veteran actor has had this albatross hanging around his neck for his entire career, somehow unable to pick up the top Oscar win despite appearing in so many box office blockbusters over the years.
And whilst most pundits agree his performance in ‘The Revenant’ would finally give him the nod this year, Iron Mike Tyson adding his concurring opinion certainly settles it (because we say so).
He told TMZ that he thought DiCaprio ‘killed it’ with his performance in ‘The Revenant’, adding that he deserves to finally win one.
DiCaprio would be contesting in the loaded Best Actor category against- Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon, Michael Fassbender and Eddie Redmayne, at the 88th Academy Awards, which comes off at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 28.
