Mutombo Da Poet Obliterates Religion- Calls Jesus Fictional And Pastors ‘Con Men’ In New Poem ‘Judge Me If You Can’

Mutombo Da Poet
Mutombo Da Poet

This is one of the most powerful statements against religion I’ve ever heard a Ghanaian make- and all kudos to Mutombo for crafting it in a poetic way that is set to stick in people’s minds.
That religion is holding back the continent of Africa is not a debatable point- what with an ignorant population verging on outright stupidity guzzling it up like manna- leading to pastors like Obinim and Bushiri making millions whilst their followers wallow in poverty, and corrupt politicians who can hide behind their supposed ‘godliness’ whilst they fleece the populace.
Yet we continue to blindly worship and blindly follow, the same pastors who keep getting richer, the politicians who also keep getting richer, and the only people suffering are the masses. But then there is a reason religion has been called an opiate.
In this new poem, Mutombo goes hard on the excuses we give to be religious, and the fear of eternal reward or punishment that is used to keep dissenters like himself in line.
Of course, hell only holds a fear for those whose minds are still plugged into ‘the matrix’. When you step out, you realise it’s nothing more than an ancient Greek idea that was stolen by Christians to cow people into submission to their god.
I often marvel why Africans believe the people who came to enslave and colonise us had our best interests in mind when they brought the bible.
Mutombo, thankfully, sees through the facade. The conclusion from his hard hitting poem is that- Jesus is fake, religion is a cancer, and Christians are always too quick to judge.
I couldn’t agree more.
Watch the video below… and let the hypocritical judgements commence….
