Charles Palmer Buckle- Homos*xuals Have Human Rights- Except That They Cannot Marry

When the religious have unlimited power, the results are never pretty- the inquisition and current global caliphates have made that pretty clear.
So now that the rest of society is dragging them along towards enlightenment, they’re gradually trying to follow, except they still want to exert some influence over matters outside their purview.
The Metro Archbishop of Accra, the Most Reverend Charles Palmer Buckle, has said that the Church believes that gay people have human rights as they are also God’s children- except they still cannot get married if they want to.
Speaking on Starr Fm Monday, Rev Buckle said that gays should be allowed their dignity, which should not be trampled on. But whilst not trampling on them, you still should not allow them to get married.
“We [the Catholic Church] are clear on that, homos*xuals, LGBT’s and the rest are children of God and they must be respected.
“They have a human dignity that nobody must be allowed to trample on that.
“However, for the greater good of humanity we the Catholic Church espouse and we say that marriage is for man and woman and remains for man and woman and children should be brought up in the family of man and woman.”
What’s that greater good of humanity mean? Is he saying that all heteros*xual marriages are perfect, and children raised up in those homes are better than children raised in homos*xual homes? He’s never met even one person f*ked up despite growing up in a one man one woman home?
He also added: “It is also not only our religious teaching that makes us stay by that, it is also a natural normal logical thing so this is where we are in the Catholic Church and I think we have made it very clear we are not going to condemn LGBTs as personalities…but we definitely say that is contrary to the greater good of humanity for procreation and also for education and creation of people”.
I doubt if the Catholic Church could still make laws they would be telling us that gays have human rights- they wouldn’t, they’d probably be killing them. Now the refrain is ‘we know you have human rights, but we don’t want you doing something other humans  generally do’.
GTFOH, Catholic Church. There’s a reason ‘Spotlight’ won an Oscar, and it strips you of any supposed moral authority.
