Knife Found Buried In O.J Simpson’s Old Estate To Be Tested For DNA

OJ_Simpson
A strange sequence of events has led to the discovery of a knife on the former estate of O.J Simpson, one that is being tied to the 1994 deaths of his wife and a friend, of which he was acquitted.
The knife was found years ago by a construction worker on the grounds of the sprawling estate, but the policeman he gave it to kept it for himself, thinking the case has been closed.
Recently the knife resurfaced when the policeman, now retired, attempted getting it framed for his room, and told a friend still on the force. That friend told his superiors, and the retired cop was asked to return the knife.
Police plan to test the knife for DNA and hair samples, to determine whether it could be linked to the murders.
Simpson, currently serving a jail sentence unrelated to the murders, was acquitted in the highly publicised trial that occurred in 1996. A jury cleared him of the murders of Nicole Simpson Brown and her friend, Ron Goldman.
Even if proven to be linked to the murders, O.J cannot be retried for the same offence.
