And it’s not looking good.
HBO finally released the trailer for the upcoming sixth season of the hit show Game of Thrones, and whilst it promises an exciting season, fans might not like too much the answer to one important question.
Jon Snow looks like he’s still dead, and although one cannot expect HBO to give away any secrets in a trailer, it still sounds an ominous note for his future, which now seems far less certain than has been speculated for months.
Jaime is also back in the capital, and seems to have fallen back into old habits with newly released Queen regent Cersei. We see Daenerys being held captive by the Dothraki, and Jorah Mormont still on her trail. We see everyone’s favourite dwarf Tyrion, and the Red Woman moaning after destroying Stannis the ‘One True King’.
Oh, and Brandon Stark is back.
It promises to be an exciting season, and this trailer tees it up oh so nicely. Game of Thrones season 6 returns on HBO April 24.
