An attempt to add levity to an all too serious ceremony involved getting some of the funniest people in the country onto the bill.
So a troupe dubbed ‘the Colonial Police’, led by Oesophagus himself, came out to march during the all too serious events of 6th March 2016.
I’m not sure how wise it was to infuse comedy into such an event, but those present seemed to be enjoying themselves. Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta could simply not stop laughing.
The troupe included, aside Papa Nii; Agya Koo, Kyeiwaa, Kwaku Manu and Mr. Beautiful.
