Shatta Wale has been fighting Charter House for the past few years, so that anyone would consider this question a toss up for the head of Charter House is amazing.
Yet that’s exactly the question Mrs Ayoade was asked, and she didn’t disappoint, given exactly the answer one would expect; although she ascribed it to different motives.
The CEO of the event managing firm appeared on Starr Chat Wednesday, and Bola Ray asked her who she thinks is the better artiste, out of the two top dancehall acts in the country, Samini and Shatta Wale.
“I think both Shatta Wale and Samini are good at what they do; but maybe because I said I am an old person and likes the old things, I will choose Samini,” she told Bola.
Is it because you’re an old person? I can’t think of any reason why she might decide not to choose Shatta Wale. Can you?
Shatta Wale’s feud with Charter House is long and does not look like ending anytime soon. Recently, he got banned from competing in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, if he doesn’t apologise for his derogatory remarks. He responded with a Facebook post wondering why he’s always being asked to apologise after being turned into a monster.
