A Romanian man who refused to help with housework on International Women’s Day, discovered to his peril that it wasn’t the right day to be messing with his wife.
The incensed woman grabbed hold of the left testicle of the man, and squeezed it hard, leading to its eventual tear.
UK’s Daily Mail reports that 40 year old Marinela Benea of Vaslui county, Romania, got into an argument with her 39 year old husband, Ionel Popa, on International Women’s Day.
Popa had failed to get his wife anything to mark the day, and then refused to help with the house chores when she asked him to. Annoyed, she grabbed his left testicle and squeezed hard.
“Mr Popa’s left testicle was left hanging out of his scrotum after the skin was ripped apart.” The Mail wrote.
The wife, who narrated what happened, said she didn’t know she could be strong enough to rupture the balls. She blamed him for pulling away whilst she was holding onto it.
“Ionel had been given a bottle of wine for a day’s work instead of getting paid, and had arrived home drunk.” She said.
“When he gets drunk, he changes. All night he made me keep the fire on because he was cold and I did it to avoid having an argument.
“In the morning I opened the curtains and told him to go out and do some work, or at least to help with the household chores but he shouted that I’m not entitled to give him orders.
“I told him he was not any kind of man and I grabbed his testicles.’ It was not my fault that he pulled away, and that’s when it happened.”
Popa had to undergo emergency surgery for the tear, and is in stable condition. The pair have been married for fifteen years, and have a son together. The issue is being investigated by Police.
