Occasional Ghana coach, Avram Grant, has named a 23 man squad for the Black Stars upcoming Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.
The Ghana coach recently had to be ordered back to the country by his bosses at the FA, after spending too much time vacationing in Europe.
Captain Asamoah Gyan, who only last Friday returned to training after injury, did not make the squad. Conversely, vice captain Dede Ayew, who remains injured, made the squad.
Making a return is Adam Larsen Kwarasey, the goalkeeper who has not had much of a chance in the team since Grant took over. Leicester duo Daniel Amartey and Jeffrey Schlupp also made the count.
The Black Stars take on the Mozambique national team in a double header Cup of Nations qualifier, with the first leg slated for the Ohene Djan sports stadium on March 24.
