Singers Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys are set to join the judges’ team for the next season of NBC’s reality singing competition ‘The Voice’.
NBC announced the major news on Friday, with an excited Miley tweeting confirmation not short after.
Both entertainers would have had stints on the show by the time the new season rolls around. Alicia Keys served as a mentor to some of the contestants back in the show’s seventh season, whilst Miley Cyrus is joining the show as soon as next week to serve as a guest advisor.
The two would be joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton for the new season, and taking the places of Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera.
“The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable,” NBC Entertainment’s Paul Telegdy said in a statement. “We’re thrilled that they’ll be joining Adam and Blake in what we know will be a magical 11th season.”
