BNI 'Arrests' Managing Director in Connection With Photos Showing NCCE Cars Being Branded in NDC Colours

Published by

We need to be serious as a country.
It’s being reported by JOY FM that “BNI has picked up the Managing Director of a quarry company in connection with pictures taken showing vehicles allegedly meant for the NCCE (National Commission for Civic Education), being branded with NDC colours.”
What’s his crime? It’s alleged the photos were captured from his offices or company which shares wall with the yard where the cars were housed and being painted in NDC colours.
Apparently, that yard belongs to the BNI.
So even if the managing director took the pictures because he saw something which seems like a crime being committed against the state, why the arrest or pick up and not a a simple invitation?
Nana Adjei Baffuor, lawyer of the MD of Marbles and Granites confirmed the pick-up to Joy FM’s Newsfile Saturday morning, saying, his client “Dr. Ayo Ani and two other security men were arrested Friday while he was at work.”
The questions are; are those cars really for the NCCE—and why are they being re-branded in NDC colours ahead of the November elections?
