Coach David Duncan Turns Up For Kotoko Training Despite Being Asked To Step Aside

image
Former Kotoko coach David Duncan apparently doesn’t recognise when he isn’t wanted, the veteran trainer turning up for Kotoko Training Tuesday morning despite being asked to step aside.
I wonder how any of his girlfriends ever managed to break up with him!
The drama surrounding Kotoko’s 2016 league campaign doesn’t seem like subsiding anytime soon, what with the way Duncan’s legendary stubbornness is manifesting itself.
The Porcupine Warriors have had a horrid start to the season, picking up five points from six games. This led to management asking Duncan to step aside on Monday and assistant Michael Osei being asked to step in.
But Duncan made an appearance at the club’s training grounds Tuesday, preparing the place for the upcoming training session. This forced the team to move the session to the Baba Yara sports stadium, where Michael Osei would take the team through their paces.
Asante Kotoko are languishing at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League after six matchdays, having picks up just one win so far. Duncan previously coached Hearts of Oak and Ashantigold.
