Mariah Carey Insures Her Voice For $70m

Singer Mariah Carey’s vocal cords are her biggest asset, undoubtedly, so she has taken steps to ensure they are insured, in case of?
The singer is currently on tour, set to hit South America next, and her handlers have decided to protect themselves against the possibility of something going wrong which might lead to Mariah having to skip dates and incurring losses.
She has therefore taken out a multimillion dollar insurance package aimed at protecting her in that eventuality. According to TMZ, the package is valued at $35m just for her voice.
Being a performer as well, another policy was taken on her hamstring, in case that also gives whilst gyrating furiously on the stage. The total policy is $70m.
Her monthly premiums total several thousand dollars, but as TMZ writes, her  team believes it is worth it for the protection.
