The first daughter of the United States of America, Malia Ann Obama, would attend the world famous Harvard University for college, the White House has announced.
Malia is still in high school, set to graduate in a few weeks from Washington’s Sidwell Friends; and she has already made the decision to follow in her parent’s footsteps.
The 17 year old would start classes in autumn of 2017, after taking a one year break.
Both President and Michelle Obama attended Harvard Law school.
Harvard is generally considered one of the top institutions of higher learning in the world. Aside Obama, seven other US Presidents have been graduates of Harvard: John Adams, John Quincy Adams, George W. Bush, Rutherford B. Hayes, John F. Kennedy, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Theodore Roosevelt.
