Apparently when the security level in the country has been raised to a significant enough level, even a work of fiction can get you into deep trouble with the Bureau for National Investigations (BNI).
A Nigerian movie producer is reportedly wanted by the BNI for shooting a movie titled ‘terrorist’, Starrfmonline reports.
According to the report, the producer, Prince Chuks Ibezim, is wanted because the Bureau believes the content of the movie can pose a threat to national security, ergo, convince some people to join terrorist groups.
Ghana currently has a heightened terror alert level, after recent terrorist attacks on neighbours Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso.
