Nigerian comedian Basketmouth is planning a huge reward for his loyal fans, for getting him over the one million followers threshold on Instagram.
The singer announced the initiative, to give out N1m ($5,000), a while back, and after hitting the milestone, is reiterating the pledge, and plans to fulfil it soon.
The comedian, whose profile has gone beyond his country to the global stage with his rib cracking comedy, filling seats in arenas all around the world, is one of the most followed celebrities on the continent. Across the holy trinity of social media- Facebook, Instagram and Twitter- he has close to 5.3m followers.
According to him, the means of selecting the lucky fans would be announced soon.
