Rap doctor Okyeame Kwame is set to play a huge gig in the Big Apple next week.
The performance, which he advertised on his Facebook page, is slated for the Standard East Village Penthouse in New York on May 17.
Okyeame Kwame is embarking on a promotional tour for his latest single, which includes radio interviews and business meetings;  and the performance in New York would be the culmination of that effort.
The rapper’s performance is at the invitation of Annie Qhayon, who runs the Annie O Music series. It’s a series that has seen performances in the past from notable artists like Angelique Kidjo.
