‘Money Monster’ has brought George Clooney to the 69th Cannes Film Festival—the movie will be premiered tonight (May 22).
During the press conference of the movie which is currently on-going, George Clooney confidently said; “there’s not going to be President Trump”—this came following a question a journalist from Chicago Sun Times asked, that sort of tried to link the current Trump-America’s political chaos to Money Monster.
According to Variety, Money Monster is “an indictment of Wall Street chicanery”—adding that, “it’s largely toothless; as a pure thriller, it only quickens the pulse once or twice; as a conspiracy saga, its central mystery falls flat.”
Whatever many Americans think, Clooney is damn sure that President Trump is out of the question.
Money Monster features George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jack O’Connell, Caitriona Balfe, Dominic West, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Meade, Lenny Venito, Condola Rashad, Christopher Denham, and Greta Lee.
