Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, who rose to fame as dancehall artiste MzVee, has notched another feather in her cap, after she landed a nomination for the 2016 BET awards.
MzVee was named one of the nominees in the Best International Act Africa category, joining Sarkodie and Stonebwoy in the elite group of Ghanaian artists who have ever landed the honour.

The category is keenly contested this year, as it is every other- and MzVee’s competition includes South Africa’s AKA and Cassper Nyovest, Nigerian artists Wizkid and Yemi Alade; and a few others.
Stonebwoy is the current holder of the award, and MzVee would be hoping to replace her compatriot when the ceremony is held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on June 26, 2016.
