Tiwa Savage recently had to deal with some unpleasant marriage drama in the public square, but it seems like there might be some amazing news on the horizon for her.
Nigerian media is abuzz with news of an imminent deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation for Savage, after entertainment mogul Bizzle Osikoya made a post on Instagram citing sources as saying Jay-Z has approved the deal for the Nigerian singer.
According to Osikoya, Jay is immensely impressed with Savage’s ‘catalogue and profile’, and thus is willing to have her join the label. A signing ceremony is set to take place anytime soon.
Savage herself has yet to comment on the rumours.
Roc Nation is the record label founded by hip hop star Jay-Z, and currently houses artists such as Rihanna, DJ Khaled and Big Sean.
Tiwa would be jumping from Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records if she makes the switch.
