President Mahama Says ‘More Jobs in My 2nd Term' | the Biggest Joke of the Century

“There’s nothing as exciting as a comeback- seeing someone with dreams, watching them fail, and then getting a second chance”-Rachel Griffiths.
I concur to the above but most times giving second chances to some people is undeserving. It is like giving a bullet to someone to shoot you because they missed you with the first shot.
It looks like we woke up to yet another of the President’s empty promises. If my memory serves me right, his excellency said he was going to put monies in our pockets in his next term of office. I have had it up to my throat with the president’s unabated jabberings, I guess he does not know he has long lost credibility.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony at the Komenda sugar factory in the Central Region, the president reportedly said “the next term of office will see a launching of the green revolution in Ghana. We’re already designing and preparing for establishment of 50 new farmer service centres across the country to provide subsidized fertilizers, agricultural mechanization services, improved seeds to farmers in all parts of this country.”
He said “I have been engrossed with trying to ensure macroeconomic stability and restoring the social and economic infrastructure. That has been my focus in the first term. The second term is going to see massive investment in the real sector and that is the sector that creates jobs across the country.”
He said through the move millions of jobs will be created for our young people and the private sector is invited to increase their investment appetite for these projects and academia is also to intensify research for the attainment of these plans.
I ask “how did we cook it that it did not cook well”?
For a president who cannot provide the basics for his country, such fabricated lies will not even sit well in the ears of a toddler.
We are so used to incompetence (we are not even allowed to call him that) that people are praised and hailed for simply doing their jobs. Why should a simple inauguration be telecast on national television?
Obviously we lack in every department of our lives that a little change is exaggerated. Mister President, we are impatiently waiting for the jobs. Until that happens, I say you are talking buffoonery.
