Airtel Ghana is the Real Satan | How They F**ked Up My Job Interview (AUDIO)

From CustomerDiscuss.Com
Another Airtel Ghana user, this time someone who says Airtel Ghana has told her she s a premier customer is extensively angry—-because, Airtel Ghana f**ked up her interview, a job she could have gotten easily.
And how did Airtel Ghana do this?
According to the complainer, for some months now, anytime someone tries to call her, mostly her phone says SWITCHED OFF when it’s on.
She has even called herself several times and it tells her the phone is off, when it’s on, and sitting in front of her.
A prospective employer called her three times to come for an interview, for a job she so much qualities for and had applied for, and they never could get through—-because, Airtel Ghana kept serving them with Phone Switched Off message.

Read and listen to her complaint below…

I got my sim in 2008 and I am currently a ‘premier customer’ according to Airtel Ghana.
You will think as a premier customer at least I should enjoy some benefits abi?? Well most times when people try to call me my phone is always switched off, been happening for months now, kept quiet because when you call someone and the person’s phone says switched off abi you will keep trying???
But will people calling you for a job interview have that kind of patience, I seriously doubt that.
So I applied for a job, that kind of job you see the description and know it fits you perfectly, you tell yourself OK if I don’t even get this job, they will surely call me for interview at least to see what I got.
Well I did apply, waited for a call for interview, this call never came, so went round looking for the HR manager’s number, to do a follow up, because am very sure my application went through, I got an auto response from the company’s website, so I was sure.
The HR remembered seeing my name and it was added to the names of people to call for interview, he asked me to hang up that he will call back.
He did after 30mins only to tell me, they lady who was supposed to call me actually did, my phone was switched off, the lady tried calling thrice.
Airtel Ghana why are you doing this to me?
I just love the network since a friend gave this sim to me, I don’t want any other network…..
The devil I know is far better than the angel I don’t know, I want this issue fixed…
FIXED, I am not even complaining about your data charges, how you switch me automatically to Pay As You Go when I ran out of data bundles..
I am not even talking about how I bought recharge vouchers and over scratched them because they were too soft..
No I am not talking about that…. I want this switch off issue Fixed… Fix it damn it.
Enough already… Enough of this Joke.
Lucy Quist you are doing a great job, I see you winning awards at almost every event, best CEO, please fix this issue.

Response from Airtel Ghana to ‘CustomerDiscuss.Com’ team
We are waiting to see if they will have anything reasonable to say to this…
About CustomerDiscuss.Com:
Customer service in Ghana and most parts of Africa is the crappiest we’ve ever come across; as if Ghanaians or Africans use mango leaves to pay for services. The broadband never works, the electricity is never on, the water never flows—and the waitress can keep you waiting for your food until hunger kills your buds.
The real pain is, you have no alternative to turn to—because, like a gang of fools, they are all the same.
Almost every service and product delivering company in Africa has it butt in the faces of customers, farting uncontrollably because the customer cannot really do anything.  Mostly, if you quietly complain, they do nothing and if you are unlucky, they tell you to go f**k off.
Consumers have no voice, not even individual voices—let alone a collective one to force any sort of change.
So we’ve started this website-CustomerDiscuss.Com, supported by GhanaCelebrities.Com and other platforms, dedicated to corporate and public Africa, especially Ghana—-it’s time we shame some of these companies, tear down their lousy services, help them to lose customers and force them to do what’s right.
If you have a complaint about your telecom company, internet provider, a restaurant, your bank or even your church, shoot an email to us via; [email protected] or call/whatsapp 00447961817712.
When you go to a restaurant and you are served in a broken plate or on a dirty table, just take some photos and send them to us with the needed details.
Together, we can get these people to be accountable and importantly, do what’s expected of them.

  1. Reading this article I just got angry the more..not just at airtel but the customer. How can you still implore their services when it’s soo much cap.?!! I don’t trust any of these telecos but I’m more important them them…. my number is MTN but I have no service in my hood that doesn’t mean I should hold on to it sake of a friend gave it to me. As a young lady job searching and have used my number to fill out lots of applications, the only option I had was to port.. You don’t sit there and watch them mess you up several times.
