Abraham Attah, 15,  is soaring—and this time, he has gone completely international as he has joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The Ghanaian movie star who shot to fame right from the streets on the back of Netflix’s Beasts of No Nation joins recent additions Donald Glover, Martin Starr and Logan Marshall-Green, alongside the webslinger played by Tom Holland, with Robert Downey Jr playing Iron Man and Michael Keaton playing The Vulture.
Joining the cast of the Jon Watts-directed pic from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios is the first major role that Attah has scored since his 2015 acting debut.
Abraham Attah is already on set in Atlanta, reports Deadline—and “Zendaya, Michael Barbieri, Kenneth Choi, Tony Revolori and Marisa Tomei are also starring” the website adds.
According to Variety; “Plot details are still guarded as is Attah’s character. Holland is playing Peter Parker and Tomei will portray Aunt May while Keaton is on board for the role of a villain.
Production is expected to start this summer with the film hitting theaters on July 7, 2017.”
