Wisa Apologises For Skipping Court Date – Promises To Make Next One

Hipilife singer Wisa has apologised for missing his most recent court date on Monday, a state of affairs which led to the judge issuing a bench warrant for his arrest.
The singer has explained his rationale for missing court, saying that he failed to turn up because he was not aware of the date, and that continuous attempts to get in touch with his lawyer proved futile.
“I was at home and tried several times to talk to my lawyer a few days ago but couldn’t reach him.” He said.
“I didn’t know the date until I saw this news online and realised I had to be in court.”
Wisa, who is on trial for exposing his manhood whilst on stage during last year’s Decemba 2 Rememba, apologised for his inability to turn up in court – which wasn’t the first time it had happened – and promised to make the next court date of July 13.
“I will just say sorry and it wasn’t intentional and I wasn’t called to be alerted that I had to be in court this morning.
“I can’t run away from this kind of case as I am still around and waiting for them so I will try my best to go on July 13 and I am told the police are also looking for me”.
It’s amazing that he’s still walking around to issue apologies when there’s a bench warrant out for his arrest. This is the second time the judge has been forced to issue a warrant, yet the Police each time seem lax in enforcing it.
