Inna Patty may be living in denial or may just hate to hear the truth—because the handwriting is on the wall that the once respected and popular Miss Ghana beauty pageant is dead.
A few days ago, Miss Ghana 2010-Stephanie Karikari stated in an interview that, the “once vibrant and competitive Miss Ghana Beauty pageant is pathetically DEAD—and it has been dead for many years.”
Stephanie said: “During my time, Miss Ghana used to be one of the most credible beauty pageants in Ghana and everyone was in love with it.  But today, no one pays attention to it because of the entire organisation.”
She added: “It used to be organised by Sparrow Productions and, trust me, it was highly competitive. The brand was highly respected and very intelligent ladies came in their numbers for the competition.”
Now, the CEO of Exclusive Events, organisers of the Miss Ghana pageant has come out to rubbish her claims, saying, they’ve chalked unprecedented successes as organizers of the pageant.
Inna Patty reacting to Stephanie Karikari’s claims per a report by MyJoyOnline said; “Well, like I always say, I don’t pay attention to noise. I like to focus on what our goals and objectives are, otherwise, we would be distracted.”
She continued; “I would not say that the pageant under my reign has done better than the past. If you are talking in terms of performances of the queens at the world event or at international pageants… based on that, we’ve chalked unprecedented successes.”
“Opinions are like noses, everyone has theirs.I believe we live in a society that we’ve gotten discerning listeners so be the judge. Unfortunately, there is something called freedom of speech so everyone can get on air and say anything”, Inna Patty added
