Khaleesi Is One Of The Top Baby Names Of 2016 – Game Of Thrones Inspired Name Claims 48th Position On 100 Name List

‘Khaleesi’, which is the title of Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO hit show Game of Thrones, is actually one of the top names on the list. Of the 100 top names chosen for girls, Khaleesi is 48. Which is astonishing, since the word isn’t even a name to begin with but a title (Daenerys married a Dothraki ‘Khal’, making her a ‘Khaleesi’ or wife of a Khal)
