The Institute of Economic Affair(IEA) Evening Encounter series is a platform designed for political parties and their flagbearers to interact with a cross-section of Ghanaians through Civil Society and other interest-group representation ahead of the general elections.
Questions are also posed to the candidates after their presentation.
Dr. Edward Mahama and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet of People’s National Congress (PNC) and Convention People’s Party respectively have taken their turn on the platform over the past two weeks.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer was initially billed to take his turn at the encounter of July 5, but was postponed by the institute to August 9.
