Multiple reliable family and friends of Ghanaian comedian-Funny Face, real name Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng have told GhanaCelebrities.Com that the comedian attempted blowing his brains off with a gun many times during his “bitter” now ended marriage with Elizabeth Nana Adjoa Ntim.
“Funny Face was suicidal for many months and at one point in time, he even went to the beach with gun, ready to blow his head.” one of the sources stated.
We are told Funny Face couldn’t take the disrespect and the fact that his wife was sleeping around—especially when she had in the past confessed to cheating and yet there was no way it seemed she was about to stop.
With evidence mounting and suspicion growing, a friend of Funny Face said the comedian fell on tracking the car of his own wife to ascertain the deeper truth and on countless occasions, she lied about  where she had been and where she was at a particular time.
“It was distressing to Funny Face. He was heart broken and the disgrace was unbearable so he wanted to kill himself to end it all,” another source told GhanaCelebrities.Com.
Apparently, certain family and industry elders had to intervene, counselling him to look at the brighter side of things—the reason why he probably did not kill himself and rather opted to end the cancerous marriage.
