Well, that escalated quickly!
Accusations and counter accusations are currently flowing between the camps of the Kardashian/Wests and Swift’s, after Kim posted a video on Snapchat seeking to brand Taylor a liar.
The video shows a conversation between Kanye and Swift prior to the release of ‘TLOP’, with the rapper reading some of his lines to her to gain her approval.
You’ll recall that this line from the song caused controversy at the time of its release: “For all my Southside n*ggas that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x / I made that b*tch famous.”
Swift balked at that line, although Kanye claimed he had permission. Kim’s video was intended to support Kanye’s version of events, and it does, up to a point.
The biggest controversy was over Kanye’s claim he made Swift famous, as well as calling her a b*tch, yet that was precisely the line missing from the convo. Taylor Swift mentioned that in her lengthy response to Kim’s video.
