The New Patriotic Party (NPP) have warned Ghallywood star John Dumelo to stop deceiving Senior High School (SHS) students.
According to several reports, Dumelo has been visiting some senior high schools under the pretense of a peace ambassador but cunningly canvassing for votes for President John Mahama.
It must be pointed out that what John Dumelo is doing is illegal, as political activities are banned in secondary schools in Ghana.
As expected, the largest opposition party, NPP are furious with what the 32-year-old actor is doing. Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, the National Youth Organizer of NPP, Sammy Awuku said the Ghana Education Service (G.E.S) has banned all political activities in Senior High School so he doesn’t understand why Dumelo is clandestinely doing so.
He asked the G.E.S to call Dumelo to order or else they will do the same.
