A hot air balloon has crashed in Texas and officials say it appears none of the 16 passengers survived the crash.
According to US aviation officials, 16 people were on board the balloon which came down near Lockhart, south of the city of Austin.
A statement by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the balloon came down in a field at about 07:40 (12:40 GMT), reports the BBC.
A Fox News reporter from Lockart at the scene says contact was lost with the balloon about half an hour into a scheduled one-hour flight.
Governor Greg Abbott in statement has asked “all of Texas to join us in praying for those lost”.
And TMZ says, “the FAA and NTSB are also on scene investigating.”
