Luis Suarez's Hometown Honours Him With A Statue That Fans Are Shredding As 'Ugly'

Football players are now the biggest heroes there are, with the best in the world being adored non-stop, especially by their places of birth.
Cristiano Ronaldo has an international airport and a museum in his hometown named after him – they very well might name the entire island after him soon. Messi has his own statue in Argentina.
The latest to be honoured this way is Luis Suarez. His hometown of Salto have bestowed the honour of a sculpted statue of him which is getting some flak online for being ‘ugly’.
The sculptor, Alberto Morales, said he had never met the star but used online images to get his final product, which he maintains he’s quite proud of despite the backlash.
Suarez has expressed gratitude for the honour anyway, posting a video online thanking the artiste and Salto.
So… hit or miss?
