Chris Brown seems incapable of not getting sued, always having one legal action or another commenced against him.
This time, it is one of the victims of the club shooting at 1 OAk in 2014, the night on which Suge Knight got shot seven times. 
According to the plaintiff, Ginja Elms, he was one of those shot on that fateful night, and blames the presence of Brown for the shooting. He claims Brown’s gang ties should have made it known to organisers that a shooting was highly plausible, and thus precautions should have been taken.
He claims the gunshot wound has caused disruptions in his life, including a strained relationship with his wife.
He’s also suing Pia Mia, who co-hosted the event with Brown. He’s asking for north of $750,000 in damages, TMZ reports.
Suge Knight, who as mentioned earlier got shot on that night, has filed a similar complaint against Brown.
