New Study Says Most Men Cheat Because They Want More Praise and Admiration

Cheating
Why do men cheat? That’s a question no one person can answer since most cheating men would give variety of reasons as to why they cheat.
Despite the different individual reasons and situations, Science has been looking for the common-traits to establish why most men cheat.
M. Gary Neuman, a psychotherapist and author of The Truth About Cheating, surveyed 200 unfaithful men and he found interesting patterns in these men.
Forty-eight percent of the men surveyed said they cheated because of “emotional dissatisfaction,” reports BusinessInsider.
Explaining this, Neuman said men are more sensitive than most people regard them to be, and they desire praise and admiration. So if they feel like they are not getting enough in their relationship, they may turn to someone else.
The study mentions that men would mostly search for this admiration and praise from work place as 40 percent admitted to cheating with a coworker.
And interestingly, the study notes that beauty and physical attraction have little to do with cheating as eighty-eight percent of those surveyed said they will cheated with someone “less attractive” than their partners.
