Bow Wow has revealed that he’s set to retire from the rap game, at the tender age of 29, saying it is time for a new adventure.
The rapper, born Shad Moss, exploded as a child rapper and later actor, earning rave reviews and a deal with Snoop Dogg. He has gone on to build a moderately successful rap career, in which he has sold circa 10m records.
The artist formerly known as ‘Lil’ Bow Wow says he would drop a final album before announcing his full time retirement. That album would be executive produced by long time collaborator and mentor Snoop. After that drops, Bow Wow says goodbye to rap forever.
It’s worth noting that the rapper announced a similar retirement plan in 2009 and later changed his mind. This time though, he says, “”Im NOT coming back wearing the 4-5. ITS OVER”
