Johnny Depp and his wife Amber Heard have just completed proceedings to free each other from their spousal obligations.
Heard filed for divorce in May, citing the oft used term ‘irreconcilable differences’. The divorce got messy for a while, but mercifully ended Tuesday.
Heard’s lawyers withdrew a motion for a restraining order on Depp, and the pair released a joint statement soon after.
“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” it read.
Neither is publicly commenting on the details of the settlement – but are at least free to move on now.
