I wouldn’t hold any grudge against the person who says Obinim is a charlatan.
Bishop Daniel Obinim is not only good at exploiting the credulity and ignorance of Ghanaians, the methods he employs are diabolical, such that if it was in any civilised society, he would long have been arrested or chain for insanity.
After a video of the man of God who claims to be Angel appeared online showing him whipping the hell out of two church members, Obinim has recorded a voice note to explain what happened. And apart from the absurd justification he accords to his action, he even exposes himself as an irresponsible man.
In the audio (below), Obinim states that the two church members he whipped live with him and he takes care of them. He cites their ages as 14 for the woman and 16 for the man.
He adds that, he is a busy man of God and his wife-Florence is also a busy woman. And that, they are never at home to take care or supervise the activities of the children that live with them, including the two.
As a result, they’ve all the liberty to mess up–just as the two did by banging, and the woman getting pregnant.
If you do not have the time and your wife does not also have the time to take care of growing adults, why accept to become the caretaker of the children of others? That’s purely irresponsibility…
Taking care of children is not just about providing them with money but monitoring and regulating their activities.
