Afia Schwarzenegger has quashed reports that Accra-based radio station, Okay FM have sacked her.
According to the controversial comedienne, her long absence from air is due to a sick leave she asked from her employers, Despite Group of Companies.
“… I am on medical vacation…had to come for a couple of surgeries to fix a very old health condition,” she set the records straight in a statement released today.

My attention has been drawn to lies speculating in the media that I have been fired by despite group of companies and am in some kind of pains…kindly treat it as u do to all irresponsible lazy fabricated stories.
As I informed yall thru my publicist I am on medical vacation…had to come for a couple of surgeries to fix a very old health condition.
I would like to thank my bosses Dr Osei Kwame Despite and Dr Ofori Sarpong for their support through this difficult times and also say a big thank you to my family and friends that has been there for me.
