Counsellor George Lutterodt has come out to condemn the actions of Obinim in whipping two wards of his in church, saying it painted his wife in a bad light in front of his entire congregation.
Lutterodt said whilst he agreed with the whipping of the two, which he described as ‘brilliant’ – doing it in church, especially after revealing they are his wards, painted his wife in a bad light.
“If you are taking care of children who are like these, it tells that your home is broken” the counsellor said – indicating that this impacted negatively on Florence. He also railed against the prophet shouting down his wife.
“…Obinim, you have to do an apology, immediately to your wife!” the animated Counsellor said.
“…Obinim must reprimand the children at home. We can hear it from his house, but not [with the] congregation gathered…,  [that] shows us his weakness, his misbehaviour, his demeanour and his insolent behaviour towards the wife.
“Who is Obinim without the wife? How can you shout on your wife?” he wondered.
He said Obinim failed to show Florence the proper respect, and thus must apologise both to her and to his congregation.
“Without a wife, you cannot command any respect – how can you shout on your wife in public?” the counsellor queried.
