The way they can insult and render you useless at home and how they accord you all the high praises to ever walk this earth is really amazing.
They go like “ as for my daughter Pyper she is not like that oh, she does not mingle with those riffraff’s— she attends to her books immediately she is done with her chores, oh I am so proud of her”.
And when you hear that such epithets were accorded you, you just ask whoever delivered the news if they are sure your parents said those words about you when minutes ago they called you useless and a spoilt little brat.
It is really difficult to keep up with this very attitude.
