N.W.A Manager-Jerry Heller is Dead At 75

Jerry Heller

The controversial manager who brought Eazy-E and N.W.A. to fame and helped change the landscape of music, Jerry Heller, has died yesterday-Friday, aged 75.
According to TMZ: “Heller died after suffering some sort of medical emergency while driving in Ventura County Friday just before noon.”
“We’re told he slammed into a mini-van and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.  It’s unclear if he died from the medical emergency, the collision or both,” the website said.
Until Heller’s death yesterday-Friday, he was embroiled in one of music’s long standing controversy, accused of fleecing members of N.W.A–with members like Dr. Dre and Ice Cube accusing him out theft.
In 2006, Heller released Ruthless: A Memoir to tell his side of the story.
Heller co-founded Ruthless Records with Eazy-E in the mid 90s.
